Grants and Rebates

As part of the Governement of Canada's Economic Action plan, ecoENERGY grants have been increased by 25% until March 31st, 2011.

Homeowners who had an energy audit performed before August 16th, 2009, also qualify for LiveSmart BC grants.

Energy Star Heat Pump with 94%+ Variable Speed Furnace: $1290

Energy Star Heat Pump without new furnace: $500

94%+ Variable Speed Furnace: $790

90%+ Boiler: $750

90%+ Boiler that can also provide hot water: $1625

EF 0.82+ Tankless Water Heater: $315

Cost of inspection from Mr. Home Inspector: $300 for both the initial energy assessment and the post-renovation visit. Homeowners have up to 18 months to complete all improvements.

An energy advisor will visit your home and inform you off how much you can reduce your energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions by performing certain improvements.

Homeowners who have already gone through the ecoEnergy programs can now go through the process again on the same home.
